OUR COMMITMENT

We are committed to developing sustainable projects and programs. We satisfy the needs of the community by providing a friendly and respectful service that uses efficient and transparent processes. Through our actions, we aim for continuous improvement and growth in order to improve peoples’ quality of life.

Doris Legorreta de Beckmann

President of the Jose Cuervo Foundation

Now is the time when our country and our young people most need us. Let’s give them the necessary tools to take the best decisions in life and provide them with a life plan from where they are not at risk of violence, addictions or criminal activity.

Doris Legorreta de Beckmann

Dear all,

I trust in God that you are all well, and I would like to thank each and every one of you for working towards a better Tequila, where education and culture are the principal generators of growth and development in our towns. When we work together for the common good, we can be sure that we are helping to form men and women with strong values, men and women who are committed to helping their neighbors and improving the environment in which they live. That is why it is important that we continue to work towards fostering new leaders that will future hope for a better Mexico.

2016 is a very important year for the Jose Cuervo foundation; having achieved ISO 9001-2015 certification, we are working to establish a new quality management process that permits continuous improvement, a transparent process that guarantees we provide the best attention and service to our community.

On another matter, we are also very happy to have been able to extend our reach by establishing our project management offices. We have successfully increased a number of services that we are now able to provide to the most vulnerable sector of the Tequila community. During these expansions we have also been able to implement social- economic projects along the way.

These strategic projects gained the Jose Cuervo Foundation an important special recognition at the XI Latin America Seminar for Socially Responsible Businesses, awarded by the Mexican Center of Philanthropy in Spanish: Centro Mexicano para la Filantropía (CEMEFI), A.C.

I would like to reiterate my love for this land of Tequila and I remain at your service so that together we can make Tequila a shining example of a “magic town” within our country and among other regions.

Thank you very much!

JOSE CUERVO FOUNDATION

The Jose Cuervo foundation completes 18 years of uninterrupted social labor, and for the last two years, has been working on developing a new model for sustainable community development. We remain fully committed to bettering the quality of life in the communities where we are working.

Tequila has become our principal objective, basing our work on 4 strategies that help empower the community by improving local economy and developing education. Objectives that show our institution to be a transparent and trustworthy one. An institution that provides opportunities for growth that, in turn, generates well-being for everyone.

OUR VISION 2017

2017 / CULTURAL CENTER “JUAN BECKMANN GALLARDO”

In 2017 the Juan Beckman Gallardo Cultural Center was opened as a space intended for the celebration of Mexican culture and to be a legacy from Jose Cuervo to the world. It is a place for the exhibition of the family’s private art collection and other handicraft and art collections such as the collection of artist Chucho Reyes.
